e-Madness is an amazing new software application, designed and built exclusively to facilitate casual sports tournament bidding between friends. Because we know that there is nothing quite like the excitement of watching your team in a match when you have a "vested interest" in them, e-Madness not only allows this, it gives an increasing rate of return for each round your team progresses!
Until now, informal tournament "pools" have been restricted to the well-known bracket format that floats around the office, school or the local bar. These formats only allowed the winner of the entire tournament to hold the bragging rights, and in many cases, the winnings of the informal wagers.
The premise of e-Madness is simple, and based on an auction-style tournament format. It allows friends to plan, create and run private, peer-to-peer web-based auctions for any sports tournament. Using e-Madness:

All the teams (or players) of the tournament are auctioned to the highest bidder during the time the auction is hosted on-line.

All the bids are combined to create the total payout pot.

The highest bidder of each team "owns" that team for the entire tournament.

For each round that a team advances, a percentage payout of the total pot is paid to the "owner" of the team.
This software apppication is a networking tool that allows the HOST to turn his or her personal computer into a private web server that hosts sports auctions with friends. This software requires you to first install a web server on your machine, such as the Apache web server that is free to download. We recommend you print the installation instructions on the HELP page to ensure your installation of e-Madness is trouble-free.

As the Host, you may choose to build your own tournament brackets from scratch, or download a fully-populated tournament auction from our website... allowing you to launch the auction and invite your friends in just minutes!
